Iwọ ni Is a yorùbá statement. It is a very short sentence in Yoruba comprising of just 2 words. The words are “Ìwọ” and “ni”.

Iwọ in Yoruba means, “You“,

Ni in Yoruba means “it is“.

Combining both together, we have “It is you”.

So, the meaning of the Yoruba sentence “Iwọ ni” in English is, “It is you”.

Example:

1. Ìwọ ni joo. O tún n parọ!

Meaning: It is you please. You are even lying again!
